Chef Mohamed Al-Matin, a Singaporean culinary expert who was trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Sydney, Australia, owns Le Matin Patisserie. The patisserie, which was established in 2020, follows a French-style concept and provides an ever-changing array of exceptional pastries made with premium ingredients sourced from various regions worldwide. Chef Al-Matin previously worked at acclaimed patisseries in Sydney, including Adriano Zumbo Patisserie and Black Star Pastry, as well as serving as the Head Pastry Chef at Restaurant Andre and as the Pastry Sous Chef at Noma, one of the world's most esteemed restaurants.
We highly recommend trying the Red Hot Fried Chicken Croissant and the Wagyu and Bone Marrow Sausage Roll. The Red Hot Fried Chicken Croissant is an explosion of flavors in every bite, with its crispy and juicy Buttermilk and cornflakes Fried Chicken Thigh sandwiched between two rounds of sourdough croissants. The spicy and buttery flavors are perfectly balanced. The Wagyu and Bone Marrow Sausage Roll is a delectable treat consisting of wagyu beef mince wrapped in flaky puff pastry, topped with bone marrow, and glazed with black garlic, and adorned with a thyme stem for an extra burst of flavor.
For those with a sweet tooth, don't miss out on the Roasted Hay & Pecan Tart, which boasts a delectable pecan and almond tart base filled with pecan frangipane infused with hay butter and a subtle citrus note. Alternatively, try the Korean White Peach, a luxurious dessert featuring a luscious white peach and raspberry mousse infused with peach kernels and a boozy Korean white peach makgeolli compote. The dessert is coated in a thin layer of Valrhona opalys chocolate and topped with raspberry chocolate to give it the appearance of a white peach.
