Dumplings are a universally beloved delicacy that holds a special place in Asian cuisine. It's safe to say that people of all cultures can appreciate the unique and delicious flavors of these delightful little treats.

At Dumpling Darlings, you can treat yourself to an extensive selection of delectable dumplings and noodles. The crispy dumplings are generously filled with succulent and savory ingredients, encased in perfectly crispy gyoza skin. Meanwhile, the noodles are freshly made daily using only flour, eggs, and salt, resulting in a chewy and flavorful experience. The noodle menu is limited to four enticing options: Miso Mushroom, Braised Pork, XO Prawn, and Sichuan Pork, each offering its own unique flavor profile.

I highly recommend trying the Fried Pierogi and Smoked Duck Dumplings when you visit. The Fried Pierogi had a distinct truffle oil aroma that perfectly complemented the filling of smoked bacon, truffle potato, caramelized onion, and cheddar, resulting in a creamy and smooth texture. The smoky and savory flavor of the bacon also added a delightful touch to each bite. However, those who are sensitive to spice should beware of the accompanying Sriracha crema, which packs a fiery kick. The Smoked Duck Dumpling is another must-try dish, featuring succulent duck meat inside crispy gyoza skin and topped with a semi-sweet dark sauce. The sweet and savory flavors are perfectly balanced, and the addition of refreshing arugula provides a palate-cleansing touch that enhances the overall taste experience.

Choosing a favorite noodle flavor from Dumpling Darling’s lineup is nearly impossible, but we must admit that we have a soft spot for the Miso Mushroom Noodles. Featuring a topping of ajitama egg, fried garlic, shallots, spring onions, and shredded nori, the Miso Mushroom Noodles were bursting with umami flavors, with a subtle sweetness from the seaweed. The addition of mushrooms, fried garlic, and shallots contributed a delightful aroma to the dish.
