Warm & Fluffy Easy-to-make Chinese Steam Bun

Want some BAOs? We can't give you hugs, but we can give you an Easy-to-make Chinese Steam Bun recipe! Our warm and fluffy Steam Bun stuffed with Fong Yit Kaya Fillings will give you a mood lift just like hugs do!

1. 205 grams Hong Kong Flour

2. 35 grams Wheat Starch

3. 1/4 teaspoon Baking Powder

4. 45 grams Icing Sugar

5. 3/4 teaspoon Instant Yeast

6. 20 ml Vegetable Oil

7. 120 ml Water (room temperature)


1. Knead until dough is formed

2. Divide into equal pieces

3. Flatten to about palm size

4. Scoop 1 dollop of Fong Yit Kaya

5. Proof dough for 25 minutes

6. Steam for 10 minutes
